Things I did today:
-woke up at 7 to go to work
-drove an hour to get to the daycare
-read a book entitled "The Littlest Tiger"
-changed nine diapers
-played a xylophone
-played a game of hide and seek that involved a three year old running into the bathroom and yelling "I went home!", me saying "oh that is so sad, I am eating Damien's pizza since he left", and him running out and yelling "no I am here!". We did this exact thing for about ten minutes.
-took a sick child's temperature (under his armpit)
-ate a piece of pizza (but not Damien's, of course)
-ate a tuna fish sandwich
-saw a performance from Big Joe the puppet storyteller, in which he made racial slurs and insulted the children repeatedly and made jokes that they didn't understand
-played with legos
-left the daycare at 6
-went to Walmart
-went to AE at 7
-did 259876340 returns, because nobody liked the things they got for christmas apparently
-cleaned up everyone's mess
-folded a table that was just a mountain of sweaters
-sang to kelly clarkson
-ate a fruit cup
-got hit on by a hasidic jewish closeted lesbian that works at AE
-became uncomfortable
-made plans with Davis and Greeely about the New Year's Wig Party that Katy is having
-played a game with them called "hide all the jeans so we don't have to put them away", in which I hid piles of jeans underneath tables, behind hanging sweaters, and in the men's section,
-left at 1:30
-drove 45 minutes home
-got a present from my mom and a card that said she was proud of me for all the work i did this semester
-took a shower
Now it is 3am, and I am about to go to bed. I need to wake up ideally at 7, really get up at 7:20, leave by 8, get the biggest cup of coffee that exists, and then work from 9-6. I am going to be so freaking tired tomorrrow. Then I am working from 11:30 to 8 on Saturday, aka new year's eve, and then 10 in the MORNING to 6 on New Year's. Apparently I did something to make the people at AE hate me, because I am clearly being punished for somethign with such horrible shifts. Aye, dios mio.
