more assistance needed!

I always hear people talk about how they found super nice hotel rooms for super cheap on random websites. What are those websites? How can I get a swanky Denver hotel for $10 a night? Please share.

I can't figure out how to bid - I can do a basic search, but where does the bidding come in?

do basic search. then around the mid-top of the search results page there is a button that says NAME YOUR OWN PRICE. go there!

you can try it! they will warn you it wont work, but you can still make a bid that they don't think will go through. they are just trying to warn you so you dont waste your bid - you can only go once per day per price point/area/date (per email address) or something like that. there are limits. anyway, one trick is, say you make a bid for $50 and they say "ooooh we almost can make a match but you need to bid $70," you should split the difference (in that example, $20 becomes $10), add to your original bid, and they will accept it 90% of the time -- so they encourage you to bid $70, but they will really accept $60. make sense? this applies pretty much across the board if they counter offer you.
