No news...

..is typically good news.

In my case, it's just been busy busy busy busy. But nothing exceptional.

Am feeling quite single, for reasons I don't want to divulge here. It's one of those problems best dealt with by ignoring it and waiting for it to go away - because it has before, and will this time too. And if you've not figured it out by now, I'm certainly not going to tell you on this public a forum. Use email.

Want to game, to distract self from aforementioned problem. But everyone else is busy - though they, too, wish to game. Maybe this week. Heck, in any case, perhaps I'll find the Games Workshop local HQ in Glen Burnie and bring the Reavers down there for a workout. Bargrim is nearly maxed out - and I want him to be the greatest Goblin hero evah! ;-)

Learning demos at the MSC. They're fun - I get to ham it up on stage while doing magic tricks (aka science experiments). Very similar to my work at the USS Constitution Museum, but with fire, cryofluids, self-creating foam, and some acid/base combos that are rather...hmm...exciting.

Co-workers continue to rock. One keeps pestering me for my stories - apparently I have very amusing friends, both here and in MA. I don't think she knows any of them...

Old boss continues to mess with me as her department continues to disintegrate. Luckily, my new bosses and I are in agreement that while helping her out every so often is OK, it cannot be allowed to become chronic... If I didn't like the people under her, I'd enjoy watching it more...

Bought first Flames of War miniature. It's a Panzer V A "Panther." Surprise. ;-) I think I'll post photos as I prime, and paint it - I intend for it to be my best paint job ever.

Thinking of that, I found and have been painting some very 'old school' minis - from Moondragon and AD&D (2nd ed.) that I found, One used to be a Gold Dragon...now it's a Sapphire. The other is an unpainted Bronze Dragon. Yay, more Dragons! I'll take and post pics eventually.

Spring is here. It itch or burn *everywhere* - or did until I gave up and took some allergy medication. It's mostly subdued now - but as soon as it wears off, it's gonna be no fun at all. Whee, I get to be a druggie for three months! :-\

That's all the news that's fit to print. Until next time.
