summer...
...despite the fact that i have been sick for the past four days straight i have been highly enjoying this two week vacation...
I was in love with today..it was just so excellent..i woke up to the company of two of my favorite people and then a third one joined us...it was beautiful outside so we decided to get a lovely jamba juice, for me the Coldbusters jumba juice which was surprisingly wonderful, and then walk to the park and lay on the grass in the sun (or shade, whatever)...it was peaceful, stressfree and just what i needed....i especially enjoyed the fact that since three out of four of us were sick we were all very open with blwing our noses and did not hesitate to blow our little hearts out and make gross noises..it was great...
i have decided that i am only going to surround myself with people who i enjoy the company of and who i feel i can connect with on a higher level than meaningless small talk....i find that when i am accompanied by people who i truly enjoy and like to be with, it makes everything else worth while..
my new favorite store is the five and dime on irving inbetween 8th and 7th. i have also decided that i am going to start getting pasteries at Tart to Tart..it is too amazing not to go there more often..hello, they have ice cream AND homemade delicious goodies..mmmm
