The battle was really tight, and we held our own, for it being our first real show. There was this one kid, named daniel, who i had talked to after our set, he came out and talked to the band after the show, he was really impressed with our sound, and he couldnt wait till we make a recording. That made me really happy. I dont have any pictures to share, but i saw some flashed as we were playing, so im sure somebody has some. I'm really impressed with Jake from From Aphony, hes a really tight kid and a good singer. At the show all the other bands had HUGE MArshall Stacks (Amplifiers) and we had tiny little amps. I declare that hardcore scremo isnt very interesting, but it is really scary. Many of the bands had some "throwbacks" to classic bands like the who, for example, swinging their microphones, jumping around the set and onto the drumset. John quit the band cause he said he wasnt a good enough musician, which is a minor setback, but we got an AMAZING drummer lined up if we can just work out a legitimate practice schedule. All in all the night was a success and i am so grateful for anyone who came to support us, it means soo much to me, you have no idea. And for the people that didn't come and didnt have a reasonable alibi, screw you. After the show we went to mcdonalds and messed with the employess in the wee hours of the morning. As for right now, nick max and shaun just got here and were gonna go start recording a demo so we can book some shows cause it was really fun. peace
