Um, this list would be a lot longer if I included all the people D's had just enough interaction with to be...almost totally indifferent to their very existences, because that's his default setting with new non-animal personalities. ^^;; Starts with likes, works down to dislikes.
Toboe: D loves Toboe. Toboe is sort of the camp version of Chris--he brings out a gentler, kinder side of D that very few people will ever see. D will protect, care for, and teach Toboe as long as Toboe lets him. If anybody hurts Toboe, they will probably find themselves on the sharp end of a totetsu.
Fletcher: Likes. Fletcher is young, which helps, and good-hearted. The clincher, of course, is that Fletcher is interested in plants, and wants to learn about them. D respects that, and would probably help Fletcher with anything he asks for.
Heather: Likes. Anybody who brought a pet by for D to look at got a gold star in D's book; and Heather's knowledge of animals impressed him.
Kabuto: Likes. As long as Kabuto takes good care of his Pokemon, D will approve of him on general principle. And of course, he likes Sakura.
Kon: Kon is the sort of person D probably would not normally like, but whom D gives credit for asking for help when it's appropriate. He thinks well of Kon for putting effort into taking care of Kal even though Kal poses a danger to himself and other people. As long as Kon continues to do this, D will give him any help with Kal he asks for.
Kal: Fond exasperation. Kal is a pest and a brat, but he's an animal, so D cares about him, and he'll keep an eye on him.
Ying: D thinks she's got the sense to come in out of the rain, as it were. She's not willfully ignorant, and he appreciates that.
Goku: D simultaneously appreciates and is exasperated by Goku's insistence on keeping a pet he can't really take care of properly. Since Goku stuck it out and took the help that D offered, D will leave it alone. He's mildly fond of Goku by this point, and would probably regret if anything bad happened to him.
Rikuou: Indifference, slowly giving way to dislike. D was not especially invested in Rikuou's psychological well-being; he gave him the owl more to see what would happen than anything else, and when it petered out, he went back to ignoring Rikuou. However, Rikuou's suspicion of him and hostility toward him is becoming mildly irritating, especially when Rikuou tried to turn Toboe against him.
Excel: D loathes Excel, first for abusing Menchi, and again for being crazy and annoying. He might actually do something petty and horrible to her, given the opportunity. Whee!
