so it's been a while since I wrote an entry of substance in this journal, but i'm making peace with livejournal so here it is.

yesterday was great. finally went to check out o.noir

ehsan kept drinking everyone's drinks in the dark and i got groped about 3 times from the only non-platonic member of the table. the experience was pretty amazing, it was pretty weird, since we got in and walked around in a pitch dark room and sat at the table.

i felt weird about the darkness thing- like having my eyes open but not seeing anything so a lot of the time i was just closing my eyes, so it feels less weird.

I chose the surprise appetizer, which ended up being smoked salmon with lettuce, capers and onions- very tasty
then the main dish for me was a filet mignon, which was frikkin amazing and perfectly grilled and tender and juicy and yummy and dessert was chocolate cake with ice cream.

the eating experience was cool... most of the time we had to eat with our hands, due to the inability to use the fork competently in the dark, but it was fun.

beyond the wet willies, gobbler attacks and ehsan screaming for the waiter all the time, it was pretty peaceful, seeing as we were all full and it was pitch dark.... i almost passed out on j's shoulder.

it was a really good experience... i'd highly recommend it to everyone.. ok i'm too lazy to write any more
