Con Crud

Hello All. Well I have Con Crud. YAY! Not. I just came home from Gen Con 2016 and it was fabulous!!!!  As usual. But alas, dry hotel room and exhaustion kicked my backside and I woke-up Sunday with the beginnings of Con Crud. It has laid me to waste and now I am trying to get my work done from home. I should have most of my work done from home by

Yes and yes! The BBS is soooo goood and now I want more baked goods.

I loved seeing the pics! We went to Origins this year instead of Gencon (though we skipped Gencon the past couple years as well, due to being unable to get hotel rooms within walking distance!) and insteda of making me miss Gencon less, going to Origins made me miss it more! Origins was awesome, but it just gave me Con fever! ;)

I understand about the rooms. A friend of mine uses Uber and LOVES it and gets around Indy no problem when at Gen Con. Maybe you could consider that. :)

I haven't coughed/sneezed in 15 minutes so it's kinda quiet here too. Thank goodness. I need a nap!

That's not a bad idea - that'd be worth getting over my fear of the driver being a murderer! WHY I think an Uber driver is more likely to be a murderer than a normal taxi driver, no idea! BRAIN! ;)

Origins was a lot of fun! Much smaller than Gencon - still like 16,000 people, though.

Wow! It would be fun to go to Origins because it would feel like 2004-6 Gen Con for me. :)

And hey you can also take a taxi in Indy. They are very nice drivers. One time I got one who made appointments with us throughout the evening and that was GREAT! He was there when we left the bar and took us to our hotel. Very nice.

That's what we said! 2004 was the first GenCon I went to, and origins this year totally reminded me of it.

That's good to know! The 10 years I went, and the like 20 my husband went to, we always had a close hotel - usually the Hilton Garden!
