Quite A May Day

May 03, 2011 13:10

Hello. Well you probably know that Osama bin Laden is dead. Yes one's feelings can be quite mixed. I for one have not been this relieved since Obama was made our president.

The best way to sum up my feelings, and yes I admit that they are quite "Id", is to show John Stewart and Stephen Colbert report.

Well. Yes.

Now let's move on.

Oh and Mr. Obama, please milk this for all it is worth, ok? ;)

EDIT: I'm editing this post on 9-28-2012. I am to glad and thankful that Bin Laden is dead I can't describe it. Ok. Well I can. Just look at Stephen's face and John's relief and yeah well, I'm right there. Still. :)

Not sure it is ok, to feel good or ok about someone dying. I understand your choice. However, I'm glad and still in my heart celebrate - the relief is that great. For now, to better understand the shock and sorrow, here is John Stewart talking about his pain over 9/11. Thank you John for your painful honesty and tears.
