cleaning the yard
so my folks came to town today and helped me clean up the yard. since i live on the corner my yard is generally accepted as a trash receptacle for all the jerks who are walking around, but in addition to the usual BK wrappers and 40's still in a brown paper bag i had all the leaves from last fall and an unusual amount of branches. it's been bothering me since the snow melted but i wouldn't have lifted a finger to do anything about it without help. which reminds me, erin came out and helped me rake too. that was awesome, thanks. by the end of it i was all sore and felt old. i can't imagine what yard work is going to feel like when i'm 65. i hope by then i have money to just hire someone to do it for me.
