spring
so the weather is coming around and its time for rain. tomorrow i'm hoping to seal the flat roofs before the april showers cave in another ceiling. owning my own house has taught me to never trust people who's job it is to fix something about your house. they probably don't know what they are doing. examples so far only include Nicks professional roofing and the sprinkler guy who caused a leak then left. i figure, hey i don't know what i'm doing and i don't charge thousands of dollars to f up my own house so might as well give it a shot. so far its been time consuming, and educational and yes successful. so up to the roof i go, hopefully i finish before the storm hits.
and speaking of fixing things, its rally time. next weekend i'll be whooping it up in richmond,VA. time to pull the old moped out of the basement and work out the kinks. if the weather permits i may start riding to work. hooray for fuel efficiency.
what else is new? my cats love to pee all over the house. when i question them they all point the finger at each other. i'm thinking of getting catheters for them but then they'd probably just chew holes in the bags like they chew holes in my house plants. rotten bastards.
also i just finished reading fear and loathing in las vegas. it was a surprisingly good read.
