Okay not really, b/c I like my nails far too much and spend too much money on manicures, but... you get the picture. *g*

This is a great chapter. Full of tension and great characterizations. I feel for Jack. This is going to be tough.

It's a tough habit, one I'm glad I never took up. Though I had an awful time breaking the habit of gnawing on my cuticles. I was lucky though: growing up, my best friend had these gorgeous long nails and I wanted the same. So no biting them. Now, I live in NY, where manis are at most $15, and I know places that are safe to get one for $8.
