The All-Nighter
The All-Nigher was so much fun last night. Although I suppose most of it was boring except I was ballroom dancing the whole night. Basically 7-330 with a break in the middle for food. So I signed up to join their competition team, which should be interesting. The people are interesting and are fun to be around. By 330 in the morning almost everyone else was gone so I just got to hang and talk to them, which was cool. They apparently go out to clubs and dance most Fridays and/or Saturdays. And by 330 everyone was in that crazy tired state where your hyper so they were playing all these crazy fast songs and just looking awesome.
I learned so many different dances. Jive, hustle, cha-cha, foxtrot, ramba, salsa, and waltz. probably others but it all kind've blended through the night. At the moment I'm best at cha-cha, but I like waltz most even though I'm not good at it yet. That or foxtrot seem like my favorite because they are so fluid and graceful looking. The others like cha-cha, hustle, jive and such are fun cuz they can be done so fast, but I think the waltz and foxtrot look better in general.
Owell, Monday is their practice night? So I'm joining them there.
I want to find someone to practice with.. cuz I don't want to wait until Monday...
