Lesson Learned
For today's job, the client's not too concerned about the exact script, so I thought it would be more efficient to "wing it", and simply recorded my thoughts on-the-fly. I was wrong. It cost me an extra hour or so that way. For me, at least, it seems that it's better to write the script completely first, and then record it. Lesson learned.
