Today has been a day that would make Murphy proud...
I've had one hell of a month, but I've noticed one thing. Tape backup drives going apeshit, devouring media, incorrectly performing backups, etc.
Of course, the last work day before I go to littledee5's for 10 days, I get a call - at 8am in the morning. Billing software at the Dr's office is completely nonfunctional. So, I fly into the office - apparently the tape backup decided to lock the SQL files for the database that the software uses on the server - boink!
So, I restart the server (I'm not that keen on Win2k Server stuff), and the damn tape drive stops working.
So I put in 10 hours yesterday getting the tape drive functional, and another 10 hours today fixing other random stuff. I hope this puppy will last while I'm away - I guess I've got 2 more days to figure that out...
Oh well... Time to go home and get dinner.
