winter activity day

i actually had a really, really good day.

first off, bowling.  that was a lot of fun.  i think i won every game, which adds to the fun, of course.  sara and janina kept changing the bowler names to dirty names.  that wasn't really a problem until jatiouk walked past and talked to us...and glanced up at the screen.  yeah, that was awkward.  but we had fun making fun of mel.  we didn't eat their lunch because we were planning to go to a sushi restaurant for lunch.

lunch at sake, the sushi buffet restaurant by pacific mall (did wasabi close down?).  the food was pretty good, especially the sashimi.  the only thing we didn't really want to eat were the spider rolls.  we wanted to try them, so we ordered them.  we didn't really believe there was spider inside them, but when they came and a leg was sticking out of one of them...we still didn't believe there was spider inside them, but it did freak us out.  there was also a little choking incident, and lots of green tea ice cream.  and man, we ate a lot.

then, speed walked to the library and burned off all that sushi.  and there were actually books to shelve today.  nowadays, we normally finish all the work in the first 45 min because the daytime pages are just so efficient.  today, sara and i actually had work to do, which was a nice change.  having no work is really tiresome, because you're so bored, you usually wander around looking for work.  plus, it looks bad to just stand around if you're a page.  and if you're really bored, you have to wash the shelves, which hurts my neck and hands.  since you have to take the books off the shelves to wash the shelves, it can cause you to drop three encyclopedias on your finger, like i did the other day.  then, the washing includes getting rid of vast amounts of dust.  the water turns black and you can see bits of dust floating around.  anyway, i just don't like shelf washing.

yay for winter activity day.
