christmas
after who knows how long, i've decided to finally post.
so, lots of stuff happened since the last post. i can't remember all of them. all i know is, i have two presentations, a physics lab, and possibly an AP calc test next week. fun fun.
christmas concerts were a bit...off. personally, i thought we played better in the first one than the second one. still, we weren't that great in either concert. there were parts when we weren't together, when we sounded unsure (and therefore, very bad), and the tempo kept changing when it wasn't supposed to. we weren't 100% together, which i know we could've been. i know i'm not an expert, but when i play the piano alone or when we play as a band, properly with the right spirit, i can really feel the music. i remember feeling it during last year's concerts. i felt it during this year's rehearsals. i felt it a bit during the first concert. but i did not feel it during the second one. all i could hear was the fact that we weren't together. but maybe that's just me.
and yes, even though a whole lot of people hate me for it, i won an ipod shuffle. i will say nothing more.
btw, congrats to frankie and betty for their great job in "all is calm". and congrats to vince too, except i don't think he would read this.
