The final piece

Here's the final update that i'm at last allowed to share...
I've been promoted to Acting Customer Experience Manager of our Langley store!!!
Sad part, leaving my richmond team. I have three days left there and already i've had to say goodbye to people that aren't working my last days working. I gotta admit, when I left coquitlam I thought it would suck but richmond was awesome. The team is just as close, if not closer, everyone has fun (for the most part haha), and we're all twisted.lol.
I'm nervous heading to Langley, new position, new crew (90% of which are apparently new), an all female team with two VERY forward and to the point leaders (my new GM and her logistics manager)...and well, the damned port mann bridge! lol.
I went out for a meeting with Wendy and ended up taking the albion ferry home! I made it home in forty minutes, that was WITH getting lost in some back roads of langley due to medians blocking my path lol. The location is pretty nice, it's in a strip mall so the hours are nine to nine every day (but sunday), that will suck, but I'll only be closing one to two shifts per week. There's the home depot, london drugs, best buy, home outfitters, all that kind of stuff within walking distance. It's going to be a big change, but I think it'll be a good experience. I think i'll learn alot from the team.
It also comes with a raise, of course...which is nice, cuz my big girl bills are starting to come in!! I paid my first hydro and strata fee bill this month....and strata just realised they never charged me last month, so they want their money...lol.
My last day in richmond is tuesday, i work two days for an orientation in langley, then it's three days off to relax and get ready before I head in full force...crazy huh?? I had to postpone my final class at douglas as my supervisor had already been given the go ahead to take a class the same two days as I would have needed.... I have a supervisor! lol, it's gonna be quite the change!
I'll come out and visit my peeps in richmond whenever i'm out that way (as dave works out there it won't be too hard to go in and say hi). I can't wait to take my parking decal and tell richmond centre security to shove it up an orifice...... I get to park wherever I want!! lol.
Other news, went to Taboo tonight. Just as good as last year, except this time, no midget stripper...but some burlesque ladies took the stage who were entertaining to watch...and energy drink samples everwhere.... guys dressed up as firemen, real firemen...cowboys, and plenty of hot ladies...plus plenty of not so hot ladies wearing barely there outfits...but what's taboo in vancouver without that?? lol.
Dave now wants the laptop...so i'm gonna jet. Tomorrow I get to do my very last day of payroll!! That's so sad! (that i'll miss doing it and the fact that i like doing it haha).
