So, The Mote in God's Eye by Niven and Pournelle for December. We want to go for picking the next month's book around mid-month and for discussions to kick up around the first of the month following?
IE, we'll pick January's book around mid-month in December (assuming Christmas has left us any brain cells) and discuss Mote the weekend of Jan 2?
I love to read but depending on what's going on, I find sometimes I'm finishing the book for the month at the absolute last minute, so I think having a rough guideline of when discussion will start is helpful.
Besides, it gives you something to think about while you're standing in shopping lines--what would you want to recommend for Book #2? ;)
