Have you ever had a dream that just sticks with you?
There are often times when I remember my dreams. Not necessarily the plots or the people in them, but I remember the settings. Sometimes the plot stays with me, or at leas the general concept of what happened. The people in the dream on the other hand are a completely different story. I can never see their faces and there is nothing about them that really identifies them as certain people, but I know who they are. When it comes to the settings though, I see it in so much detail that when I wake up I can still very clearly picture it. It's almost like they're not the remnants of dreams, but actually memories of places I've been before, which is of course, not true.
A few nights ago, I had a dream that took place in a specific place which, like in past dreams, I was able to picture really well. This is not an abnormal thing for me, but the difference with this is that I can't seem to get it out of my head. I keep thinking about it and picturing it and the general atmosphere around it from my dream. It's almost like I can't get it out of my head. Another weird thing about this dream is that I can't seem to get another part of the dream out of my head. I don't even remember if it was an important part of the dream or not, but it also just won't seem to go away.
I almost want to write something about it, because maybe then it will not be stuck in my head anymore, but at the same time, I don't think I could describe it if I tried...
confused,
random,
