People who know stuff about guitars

Thanks to a throw-away comment from JK earlier I got to thinking about my guitar and remembered that I don't actually have it insured. Since it's a decent make and it good condition I figure this is probably something I should rectify, and since I already have musical instrument insurance for my main trombone it won't be too hard to add it on as well. Unfortunately, what with my expertise on such things running out when it ceases to have a slide, I have no idea what to insure it for so I'm throwing the question out to LJ-land and a couple of other places where people might know.

The details

It's a Fylde Othello 6 string (no. 2976). There's no year of make or anything else on it, just name and number.
It's in decent nick, there are one or two very small dints but nothing that should effect the sound.
It's in a hard case that has seen a few scrapes, again, nothing that'd weaken it structurally, but I'd be surprised if it was adding to the value.
There are no electronics on/in it.

Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?
