Caribou/Junior Boys/The Russian Futurists @ Empty Bottle.. Tuesday 6/7 9:30pm, 21+. Ah, Leaf Records, the indie-label-that-could from Canada. How I <3 thee. This show features a three of their artists, with one of their brightest stars, Caribou, headlining the bill. I must admit that he is the only listed artist whom I know well enough to describe. Caribou (aka Manitoba aka Dan Snaith) is a screengazer wizard whose ambient, barely-there textures provide a rich sonic experience and warm, happy feelings.
