rawr Current Events plus Spring Break
The Bush says we're gonna be launching a Nato offensive this spring against the Taliban in Afganistan. Apparently, the Taliban has been gaining tons of military strength, and are preparing to launch a spring offensive against the Western presence. (think suicide bombers.)
But I thought we killed the Taliban? Didn't we save the world when we started bombing and making it look like we dismembered this terrorist regime? Well you see, PAKISTAN, is the country responsible for rebuilding the Taliban. In fact, Osama Bin Ladin...who I think is probably dead at this point, has in fact, "bin hidin'" in Pervez Musharaff's basement(the president of Pakistan.) Pakistan is pretending to be our ally, because they want money from us to build their nuclear forces against India, and also to build up the Taliban, their natural allies. I just hope that you all know that. So that when the time comes to show down with the Taliban, and we starting losing men and women for no apparent reason. PAKISTAN is the reason they are dying. SOB's.
All right, I'm done.
I'm leaving for Egypt this afternoon for the next two weeks. I'll be spending the next ten days with kids from school exploring historical and modern Cairo, Giza, Saqqara, Sharm-El-Sheikh, Alexandria, and yeah, all that. It's going to be one of the most amazing things I've ever done. I'm really excited. Stay tuned for pictures.
