(no subject)
First day as a graduate student. Two of the three classes i am taking look awesome even if they both look like a lot of work. I don't know anything about the third class yet as it doesn't meet until tomarrow and the course website is up but still blank at this point. It doesn't sound fun though-Research Methods in Information Studies. Yikes!
I'm a little nervous about trying to work and do school at the same time. Yeah I'm only taking 9 hours but I'm schedule to work 34 hours this week plus one of my classes requires 8 hours work outside of class at the user services desk. But at least my schedule is not as packed as MAtt's. Hes got 16 hours, plus working about 30 hours a week, plus the 8 hours outside of class for the same class I have. But at least some of his classes like scuba and astronomy shouldn't require him to do any work outside of class. And he can easily say he isn't working one day if he needs a day to do homework as he is working for his brother. For me once I am on the schedule for the week it will be very hard to get out of it if i need to. Ah well, It ought to at least be an intresting semester between the two of us.
