(no subject)
The last few weeks have been very busy for me.
On July 15th Matt and I moved into our new place. That was the only day I took off from work for moving. We didn't get much done. Then Matt went down south for the weekend on the 16th to get the furniture set we bought. We were able to get most of the living room, some of the bathroom, and part of the officce set up before my sister, nephew and brother and law came to visit on the 22-25. That was a good visit but it put a hold on the getting the house set up. Tuesday Night we moved Matt's fish tank and got it reset up here. Now the living room is basically finished except for matt hanging the surroud speakers and some curtains that we want to get. We also finished getting everything out of his house and did some cleaning over there.
Now I need to finish at my house but I'm not motivated to do it. I'm supposed to be out by the 1st but Crystal isn't showing up till 2nd week of august so I'm not really motivated to go over there today. Especailly since I have to close at work tonight. I also have dishews downstairs to do and I need to start putting the clothes away in our bedroom. Everything has been sitting in piles from where we dumped it from the garbage bags we moved the clothes in.
Thats another thing I have to do this week; buy a washer and dryer. Matt's dad is supposed to pay for them but Matt wants me to put it on a credit card until he gets the money from his dad so we can go ahead and get it this weekend.
I've already spent quite alot on credit moving in to the new place. Kingsize bed, entertainment center, rack for the bathroom, futon for th office. Total not adding in washer and dryer is something around $1000 to be split between Matt and I. I don't guess I should complain to much though as Matt did putt up another $1000 for the living room furniture. But I won't be buying anything for a while after this. I think I will be paying my credit off with my financial aid. It's a good thing I already planned on working this year.
Oh yeah, I had an interview on friday for an assistanthship. I should hear something about that soon. That would be cool as it would waive 9 of my 12 hours of tuition and should also pay a stipend for 20 hrs/wk of work that I would be doing. That would me I could proabably only work one night a week at the theater and still get to see free movies. I really hope I get the assistantship but at the same time I don't want to get my hopes up to high. Weird state of thinking.
Well i need to go try and be productive in some way until I leave for work in 3 hours.
