Actually I'm getting another Dell as the desktop I have is a dell. Now I'm getting a laptop. ^_

Dude, your getting a Dell! Yay for a new Dell! Dell is pretty good, we are almost done paying off Jasons. Only three more months left! Woohoo! But congrats, I hope you like it.

It came yesterday. I like it. I got a dell insperion 5150 notebook. Now I just have to get a bag for it and a few other accesories like a mini mouse and a portable surge protector and I'll be good to go.

In regardes to the mouse, I would recomend you go with what Jason went with finally for a mouse. We tried the mini mouse thing at first (a battery one) and those battaries die really fast. Corded mouse's just aren't that great with a lap top, its nice to have it cordless. Well I will let Jason explain what he has to you, as he can better than I. But what he has not works pretty good, though it is not a mini mouse now.

It's still smaller than a regular-sized mouse, but not by as much as the "mini-sized" mice you can find. The important thing to look for in a mouse is rechargability, or at least an on/off switch. The one I've got now (after going through a couple different ones) is a Targus... wireless mouse, but it's got both the recharger dock and the usb donger. The usb receiver thing can be plugged directly into the laptop's usb (so it's completely wireless), or you can plug the usb cable from the recharger to the laptop--which winds up with you having wires, but then if you've got the charger thing sitting on the desk anyway... yea.

Bottom line is, rechargable and if you want it to be wireless, make sure it's got a seperate USB-receiver, or a receiver that detaches from the recharger dock.
