Kill Bill
For those who haven't seen volume 2 yet, what the HELL are you waiting for!
That said, Kill Bill is awesome.
I heard more then one person comment that they didn't like it as much as the first one becuase it didn't have the same sort of long fight seens. But I think these people are looking at the movie the wrong way. In my opinion, you have to look at the two volumes together as it's really all one movie broken into two parts.
Looking at the whole it is an awesome film. The first part shows us The Brides fury and gives us some awesome fight seens. The second part gives us a deeper look into The Brides past and her feelings. (Not to mention I think it lets us know how big of a bad ass she really is, even more then the first one did.) The second part is also more dialogue driven which is awesome because Tarantino writes really good dialogue. Both part's make you empathize not only with the Bride but with Bill and the rest of the Deadly Vipers Assasination Squad. Thats one of the things I love about Tarantino. He writes where the audience connects with both protaganist and antagonist. That's something I like not only in movies but in books as well. It makes the story more alive to me.
Any that's all I'll say on it for now.
