I just wanted to stop by and give love to two of my favorite people in the world right now: Paul McCartney and the Lovely Rita! (yes, the hurricane.)
1. The Paul McCartney concert was just...wow. There are no words to describe him. I mean, this man pops up onstage after playing a three-minute video featuring various clips from his childhood through the present; he is a sixty-three year old man playing a three hour show for over 25,000 people. The energy was just just incredible, and I guess it's just truly admirable to see a legend play non-stop for three hours, only stopping once for about thirty seconds to change into his "NO MORE LANDMINES!" t-shirt. In between almost every song he gave a personal little story that came along with the tune. He went through three accoustic guitars, two bases, an electric guitar, a piano, and an organ. After the concert I was remembering the video we watched earlier that day in TOK, discussing various leaders' manipulation of power, and well...to be able to make over 25,000 people in one room smile, laugh, and cry all at the same time..yeah, that's power.

Took her out and tried to win her
Had a laugh and over dinner
Told her I would really like to see her again
Got the bill and Rita paid it
Took her home I nearly made it
