The VMAs were awesome and I just want to thank Carolina once more for an amazing time.
I was never even attracted to Billy Joe until I saw him in person. Hot damn he's gorgeous, and my pod got to see him up close 3 times =D.
Coldplay plays beautifully live and I regret not buying tickets to their upcoming concert in September; it felt incredibly settling and soothing to listen to his voice, the same way I felt when I heard Incubus' Southern Girl.
Since I was completely isolated from most of my friends (I was in pod 13) Ana kept me company and we made some new friends. They're some of the most hilarious people I have ever met and I just want to thank you guys for rocking out with us and tell you it wouldn't have been the same without you. I hope to see you guys again Lydia, Cynthia, and Alex!
My throat is starting to hurt though; I don't wanna get sick.

My prayers go out to those in New Orleans (as well as those in the rest of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama). It breaks my heart to watch the news; a reporter stopped a woman and asked her if she had lost anyone. She lifted the two plastic bags she was holding and replied "this is all I have left."
