warning: do NOT apply for a job at PHONE-TO-PHONE in Mahwah, NJ- apparently they dont compensate workers who quit and dont give 2 wks notice..
I found this job on craigslist in the beginning of the summer and figured out that i hated the job from the start...so i quit after three days. I spoke to my manager and he said that they would send my check in the mail and that would be that.
6 weeks later...no check. i called back today and the guy tells me that because i DIDNT GIVE 2 WEEKS NOTICE I WONT RECIEVE PAYMENT. WHAT KIND OF SHADY ASS COMPANY ARE YOU RUNNING?
i am LIVID. they emailed me the contract but i want the original copy with my signature on it and complaining my ass off. i scheduled a meeting with the manager.
if this clause isnt in the original, they will be hearing from the NJ Dept of Labor
