Had a blast at Disneyland today with Al, even getting to ride through Splash Mountain twice (no line, which was a common theme for the parks today) and making my maiden voyage on the Tower of Terror, which was so fun even though I usually hate drops. It was the best ride at DCA hands down, because it looks like something straight out of, well, Disneyland! We saw the fireworks and did Al's first trip on the new Space Mountain as well as on the Astro Blasters (twice) which was fun, and we did my new favorite thing, which is riding Thunder Mountain facing backwards in the last seat. We saw Andrew a couple times at Pirates, did Star Tours and Matterhorn with five minute lines, got on the teacups and Peter Pan's Flight for the first time in a decade (and boy it's fast when you're big and strong like us!) and lots of other stuff. Not bad for nine hours of work. We'll be back on the 7th of November for opening night of Fantasmic, and you better believe we're excited. Plus I got a picture with Minnie Mouse. She was tiny.

Got the place to myself tomorrow as Sam has jury duty. I love advisement appointments although out of the goodness of my "Students First" heart I scheduled a lot tomorrow and I want to be able to go to Estrich's class again at four so I'm going to try to roll into the office early. I had a full week of tardiness so I definitely need to make it up, supervisor or no supervisor. So I guess this will be...good night (neeeiiiiigggghhhh).
