Dissertation FREAKOUT alert!
.

.
HTF am I supposed to produce a 15,000 word dissertation when the play I'm editing is 22,000 words in itself? OK, stay calm, David, remember Gordon said that with play editions the word count wasn't a solid rule; the general idea was to have about 1/3 of the requirement in original work, i.e. the introduction, plus all the work you do with modernizing and annotation. Of course, I only have about five days left to do all that.

You just looked up the hours for LA Central Library and realized they suck.

WAIT a minute, you're on staff at USC now, meaning you can use the libraries there again, and they stay open a lot later, and you don't have to worry about parking. OK, checking HOMER (and for those who don't know, that's the actual name of USC's online library catalogue)...oh HELL yes Doheny has the books I need!

Crisis averted.

.
Well, postponed.
