Bailin' on Palin
I was listening to Sarah Palin's "speech" (read: call to her lynching party) last night and my stomach was tangibly turning. Fortunately I found, via facebook statuses and wall posts, that I'm hardly the only one. I wanted to document those comments and share them to tell my compassionate, intelligent (read: liberal) friends that we are NOT ALONE! Names have been removed to protect the innocent.
...thinks sarah palin is the worst thing since 9/11.
...people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, Palin.
...hopes it hurricanes on the grand old clown parade.
...so glad to have met sarah palin. it's a real achievement for a vapid lightweight to be on a major party ticket.
... is finally convinced that Obama just might win. Leave it to the GOP to alienate everyone who is not white, hetero, male and middle class with a single badly written speech.
...was wondering why Klan meetings were being televised--until a very nice young man informed me that I was watching the RNC.
...hates Sarah Palin. Truly. :)

I dunno about the pitchforks, but just to be clear, Palin's foreign policy is incredible. She's right by Russia, has a teen daughter who's been Downtown to China Town with the bump to prove it, AND she has immediate access to Santa Claus- the man himself!! They're like, neighbors with the Coca Cola Bears. I can't wait for tupperware parties on Liberty Lane...
She is laughable at best in thinking she can run the country if that 'ol fart dies... But ya know? I'd do her. HAHAHA

RE Sarah Palin - she's having a media love-in at the moment, but hello, she was giving her speech in front of an adoring crowd who were naturally going to lap up her every word, so just wait till the media start digging up on some of her scandals and then it may be a different story. Messy business.

We need to turn their ads against them, not to bring the experience question back necessarily, but to show that they will do and say anything, change their beliefs around to suit what's working. Ridiculous.
