election day and biology

Asian females between the ages of 18 and 21 are the least likely to vote. Me and three other asian females between the ages of 18 and 21 tried to change that today. Two of them were registered somewhere else and weren't gonna go back to where they registered to turn in an absentee ballot. And me and the other girl didn't register, and apparently you can't even vote provisional without registering. No on Prop 85. and No to Arnold. that's all I knew, anyway. I also had a feeling I wasn't gonna end up voting, but eh. On a side note, if you're asked to work on something political geared towards young people, it means you're attractive. Its like the best complement ever. Seriously, all the people who were registering people to vote were attractive, and so were the people telling voters about different propositions. I guess no one would listen to them otherwise.

and biology. it is fascinating. not the actual material, but the thoughts that go along with it. I was thinking, did the paintbrush that Mendel used to transfer the pollen to fertilized the pea plants tend to pick up/deposit one allele more than another? Surely the brush was so rough that it shouldn't matter. Still, I can wonder whatever the hell I want. And I wonder-ed if there's a disease or something that mutates heterozygote DNA so that it would make them phenotypically display their recessive allele. I also wonder a lot of other stupid things, maybe I should start keeping track of them all and asking people who don't care.
