FOX benches Dollhouse during the November sweeps...

SADFACE.

MY SADFACE. DO YOU SEE IT? IT IS EXTRA SAD.

:(((((((((((((((

I think the month of November would probably now be unbearable were it not for my frakking awesome new Dollhouse roleplay with the most excellent tinkerbell-hips to tide me over. It may still be unbearable anyway because gorrammit I wanted to see those Summer Glau episodes they sounded so ( Read more... )

It was kind of the first thing I thought when I woke up this morning. I am so bummed! I will definitely be promoting the hell out of it when December rolls around. And hey, double episodes for a while will be cool, but..AHH NOVEMBER.

You will have to keep me sane.

i can't believe you didn't sleep at all! Do you do that often?

I'm going to make some new posters with the December 4th return date on them and will hang them everywhere I can think of - as someone on Whedonesque optimistically pointed out, it could be an extra month to build up interest and catch a new audience. (Or it could be a month in which people try to tune in to Dollhouse, can't find it and assume it's canceled, thus further lowering the ratings but uhhh... optimism!)

I will do my best to keep you sane. <3 (Be my best? Ahahaha, oh noes.)

And yeahhh that does happen often. I'm an animation major. Sleep is a luxury we don't always have. :I Also I am an occasional procrastinator. These things do not mix well.

That is a fantastic idea! Maybe I will make some too, though I am unsure where I can put them. Maybe I can make boyfriend post them on campus.

Ugh, I worry about losing the audience too. Especially the SCC people who were going to tune in for Summer, and then...no episode? They might just be like, "Oh fuck it."

I WILL, UNLIKE TOPHER, GLADLY ACCEPT YOUR BEST.

Ahhhh. I get about 4-5 hours of sleep every night, five days a week, but I am not sure I could do the all-nighters anymore. I am getting old and decrepit.

Places I was thinking of were comic book stories, EB Games/Gamestops, Borders/Barnes and Noble, Best Buys (place them near the aisle that would have the Dollhouse DVDs)... just around places where interested demographics might see ( ... )

Haaa. I. Well. We don't have any comic book stores, and we don't have a Best Buy or anything. We have one bookstore and I used to work there so I might be able to sneak a flyer in, though they are very anti-flyer. I have a friend whose brother works at our only game store, so maybe that will work.

I live in a kind of small town. It is pretty lame, but whatever. I feel like I should go cram a small note into all the Buffy comics at the bookstore, hee. Otherwise, campus. I'll make Joe stick stuff up in the library. There is a community bulletin board.

Yeaah, that might be the problem. Fox is so awful at advertising that viewers might tune in to see the new episodes for Summer or Alexis and then, when they aren't on time, get confused or frustrated or whatever. But this is definitely the time to look for new fans, so I'll be out there campaigning with you!

Ohh, on the weekends I will be passed out for an eternity. I always wake up feeling really gross. O__O FIVE DAYS.

IT REALLY MUST. Include Whiskey/Echo and their shiny shiny

This is an awesome plan! :) I might steal that idea too actually.

Five days no sleep = someone walked through my bathroom wall. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. o_O
