Adjusting schedules

I was always used to assuming responsibility, being the eldest.
Caring, nurturing and compromising just came naturally.
And I do see some level of differences compared to J, who was the youngest in his family.
Especially when it seems he doesn't realize the enormity of being responsible for someone or something until it hit him.
So even though he's a decade older, it didn't matter. Some habits and perspectives of life remain unchanged.
Of course, when the awakening comes. Regret ensues. And vocalizing his thoughts directly, seemed annoying to me.
And it's not all entirely his fault.
So it seems, I do lack that certain patience- to wait for him to catch up with my immediate instincts.
Lesson learned there, definitely.
Even in these eleven years, there's much to learn of someone you choose to spend your life with.
Patience g. Patience.
