Another picspam for the purpouses of forca_seleccao.
After Ricardo's picspam there is time for Portuguese goalkeepers' picspam. They also need some picspam love.
Carlos Queiroz discovered that there is more than one goalkeeper in Portugal, I give him that. I dare to say so far they seem to be the only solid point in the team he bulits since he become the coach.

Time to get used to see a goalkeeper wearing no. 1, who is not Ricardo.
After seeing his last performances in Portuguese goal I'm not complaining. He is really good.
Will came back to Eduardo later.
And now for sure one of nicest moments of this season. Quim after brief time as no. 1 in Portuguese goal lost both his place at the national team and at Benfica. He returned to Benfica goal at March for the final of Taça da Liga.
A lack of respect for the goalkeeper on duty.
Eventually it come to the penalty shootout.
Quim saved three penalties!

Very sad moment. Portugal just lost semi-final with France at World Cup 2006. Also one of the nicest pictures. Quim comforts Ricardo (if only not that logo put directely on him).

Tiago looks as if he wanted to ask the ball how it could fall in the net of his goal.
Unfortunately goalkeepers sometimes commit bad fouls in the penalty area. Every situation like this results in getting a red card and suspension. The deputy goalkeeper has to face a penalty.
Catching a player for a leg isn't the best way to stop the ball, Daniel.
Rui crashed with Barca player.
Nothing to be surprised about. Red card.
Ricardo is not an exception. In April he was given a red card.
Better not image what the Betis's fans were shouting... I bet they would send him back to Portugal with one way ticket. Near the end (91') of the match Ricardo went crazy was given a red card. Betis was actually winning that one 3:2. A player from the field has to put on a pink goalkeeper jersey and defend the penalty. The match ended in the draw.
An experienced goalkeeper shouldn't commit such a mistake ;(

In 2008 Eduardo won with Vitória Setúbal Portuguese League Cup (Taça da Liga).
He become the man of the match. Fans loved him. He defended three penalties in the penalty shootout.
In this year Benfica won the Thropy. Couldn't found a photo with Quim and the Thropy. He had to stand in wrong place. The photos of celebration with him are on the very beginning of the picspam.
