I'm beginning to discover my son Charlie says some unique things. Actually, I've always known he was clever and prone to say things that grab my attention. Although, his intention was not as such. He just says things that make you think. I've decided I want to keep a record of his statements and ones from my other children that grab me as well.
When Charlie was about 2 I noticed his shoes were not fitting him as well anymore. So I said to him that his shoes were getting too small. He then said to me "No, mommy my shoes are not getting too small, my feet are getting too big."
Charlie, now 10, doesn't like his "alphabetical order" word sorting homework. In his frustration he said: "This is why I won't be writing dictionaries when I grow up."
From my Facebook: "Every child is unique. Right now I have one son, Charlie who is making profound statements and another, Zach who is putting make up powder on his chin to cover up his scar. Go figure!
