(no subject)
I can't even commit to one week of cleaning. Even minimally. Arc came and got my 7 bags, but then didn't leave me a tax receipt. And I managed to untangle my mess of necklaces. And then classes started. Possibly having two 5-hour classes on consecutive days is not a great idea. I felt bored and tired during the second one. Course her powerpoint was only black text in a plain font on a white background. Really? They have pre-made designs and colors!
My first assignment is to come up with 10 "rare" books that I would like to have, where they are and how much they cost. Mainly I want current books to fulfill series's so I'm sort of thinking to go to this bookstore downtown and just peruse. I did eventually come up with a partial list so then it's just to determine if they qualify as rare (apparently as long as you can't get it at B&N is his definition).
This morning I am watching The Expendables. I mean this is like a movie made for me! Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Arnold... Charisma Carpenter! Fabulousness!
I suppose I should get dressed and put away the laundry. Then off to work where I can do my readings that are due in 2 weeks and research my rare books I guess. And fill out a nomination for a faculty award. That should fill 6 hours right? Plus I have a couple boxes of GS cookies waiting for me...
