Being Homeless Is Soooo Hot Right Now!

EXCELLENT!

So, today our complex notified kat and I that we are seriously disrupting the complex with our “lifestyle”. If we receive one more complaint, we will be evicted. (I’d like to add that we’ve only had our place for three months and our lease is for 18.) Supposedly, our landlord has received several complaints of noise and two residents have requested a location change in the complex just so they can be farther from us. Kat and I checked out our lease contract today and scanned over the “unacceptable violations” page and realized that we may in fact really be nightmare tenants. In our defense I am going to explain the manner in which we have broken these rules of conduct. Here it is….

You and your occupants or guests may not engage in the following activities:

1.)Criminal Conduct…depends on what is considered “criminal conduct”
2.)Behaving in a Loud or Obnoxious Manner…I really have no way to recover from this…We’re loud girls and we party even louder…we’ve had a party every weekend since we moved in and sometimes during the week. At one party, we had close to 70 people present…that was the first time we had the cops called on us…looks like our place will be the party pad no longer.
3.)Threatening the rights, comfort, health, safety, or convenience of others in or near the apartment community…obviously we’ve seriously broken this one since it is somewhat a continuation of the previous violation.
4.)Manufacturing, Delivering, or possessing a controlled substance or drug paraphernalia…screwed yet again…unless pot isn’t considered a violation of this rule…among other substances that may have been brought in to a party without our knowledge.
5.)Engaging in or threatening violence…you’d think we could deny this but there is always the story of a psycho we know named lesa who tried to attack my roommate and beat the shit out of marc at Dave’s birthday party… She’s currently facing assault charges.
6.)Discharging a firearm in the apartment community…thank god we have not broken this one nor plan to…however if BBguns are considered a firearm then we are most definitely GUILTY.
7.)Using windows for entry or exit…Guilty Guilty Guilty…We live on the second floor but sometimes the door just doesn’t seem a reasonable way to exit…I’m guessing our balcony is considered a window and we’ve definitely had people use that as an exit…and an entrance.

These are seven of the ten listed activities banned from the complex…Apparently college students are not welcome here. Now we’re faced with the decision to either change our way of living…or find a place more accepting of our “delinquent behavior”

What would you do? Should we stay or should we go?
