Dr.'s Results on the Head Injury/Concussion Topics
The long and short of things is that the Dr. recommends that I cease fighting in armored combat. I have taken multiple concussions over the years, and I have now become slow to recover from them and more easily injured. I can fence and do normal activities, but I am to avoid conditions that duplicate the effects of armored combat. I will be following his advice. From the athletic standpoint, consider me to be a boxer. I have had more than a ten year career at a very physical sport with a lot of head impacts. It is time to retire.
