i want to make music, god damnit.
today my plans are to get my license and registration crap done with. it will feel so nice not have to worry about that crap. and for the first time in over 2 years... i am a legal driver. i got insurance on tuesday. it was pretty cheap.. something like 67 bucks a month. i've always paid around $100.
tomorrow i have to work until 7pm.. but i'm going to try to get off a little early. we're going to go see finding neverland on campus somewhere after that. saturday after food not bombs we're going to this 'india fest' thing! it's going to be amazing. i'm going to stuff myself full of delicious indian food (hopefully baingan bharta and samosas!)
i'm really glad i moved here. things are looking up for sure. no specific reasons (other than darcy being amazing 24/7) i'm just feeling better about it here.. i think i will find some people to play music with. i'm really psyched about recording music.. making a cartoon.. screen printing.. etc.
we're going to see iron and wine (april 28th) and the good life (may 5th). i also want to somehow see strapping young lad and ozzfest with erik maybe.. darcy doesn't like the metal :) i can't believe how many good bands are going to be on ozzfest this year! IRON (motherfucking) MAIDEN. on that note...
