Tour Diary : Day 1
Today's show went really well. It was good seeing the Kill The Client guys again, I can't believe they drove straight to NYC from Dallas, that's just insane. On top of that they went through hell on the road since a tire on their van blew and took a chunk of the gas tank along with it, they had to get a new gas tank, toe their van and rent a minivan. Hopefully their van is fixed by tomorrow so it would make things a bit less of a hassle and certainly less expensive for them.
We went up first and got to do a lengthy soundcheck so everything was going good and we were excited to play. On our first song(time.."), at the very last note of the song I managed to break my E string! In any other situation I'd be fucked but luckily Hunter from Wetnurse once again saved the day by lending me his bass. It's the first time I've ever broken a string on stage. I'll definitely be packing extra strings from now on. We managed to pull it together and finish the set, getting a great response on top of that! Wetnurse went on right after us and were great as usual, I didn't see Aiwass because I was at the store with friends, I was so thirsty I thought I was going to pass out. The Dying Light had really good sound and their new tunes sounded really good. Kill The Client went on last and were awesome, I was really excited to see them and I'm looking foward to playing with them the next few days.
On another note, all I ate today was beef jerky. It was good jerky but I probably should have eaten some more stuff.
