I suck at this.
I'm a bad, bad poster. I keep thinking I'm going to update this thing more often but I never really end up doing so. Anyway, work has been pretty busy, I hate coming home with so little time before I start getting tired. One good thing about working all day is that I come home with a big surge of creative energy. I've been writing music and sketching almost on a daily basis. Biolich is finishing up an EP and writing for a full length and maybe a split. We have a few shows coming up in Long Island, I'll post the dates when I'm positive on details.
Two weeks ago I went to see High On Fire along with Kylesa and Planes Mistaken For Stars with Blythe and Eric who came from Philly! Before the show we met up with Anna and Hunter at Lil' Charlies Clam Bar which was nice because the place was so empty but it reeked of it's namesake. I was already pretty psyched to see HOF since I was really liking the new album but they completely blew me away. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. Despite the annoying ninja moshers who are kind of irritating(who moshes to solos?)and being incredibly exhausted from work I had a really good time.
Last week I went to the movies and saw Constantine. I didn't have very high hopes for this movie since I am a fan of the comic and from the looks of the trailer it seemed very cheesy but I was pleasantly surprised. The movie was really entertaining and one of the better comic book adaptations I've seen despite it not being extremely faithful to the book. I try not to be too fidgety with adaptations as long as the film is good and does some amount justice to the original piece.
Last night we recorded some backup vocals and put finishing touches on our ep that was mostly recorded last year. I'll try to post the stuff for free download soon.
