I don't know why Miss thinks that would be the least popular. It sounds the most unique to me.

Well, I mean...it's definitely influenced by Beauty and the Beast and the Frog Prince and all those types of fairy tales but I'm glad you guys think it's original!

Well, but they don't have NINE lives. The nine lives part seems like it would guide the structure a lot. Or something ....

True, though I think I was inspired to incorporate nine lives by the children's series The Chronicles of Chrestomanci. I think the nine lives is what I'm going to have the most fun with though. I don't think I'm going to have him fall in love with a human woman, either. I think he will have a girl he grows to love deeply but not romantically. We'll see though. The living till 100 seems like a weird goal, I need to think more on how to work it.
