(no subject)
Hmm, I've been meaning to update this for a while. The funk I was in a bit ago didn't exactly pass because I certainly haven't discovered a secret solution to my money/career problems but I've been fighting the demons by staying away from my house as much as possible and actually biting the bullet and applying to retail jobs. I've still been spending a bit of money but I will be able to pay it off eventually.
On the weekend I went to the NYC Wizard Rock Festival with my sister, Jeanne and Laura. It was probably the best thing ever. I love this kind of thing exists, that people are able to nerd out and make music this way. I was of course, crazily thrilled to see Draco and the Malfoys but I found some love for all of the bands, particularly Justin Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills and Swish and Flick who both put on incredible live shows. Plus, Lauren from The Moaning Myrtles and Alex from The Remus Lupins sang "On the Rise" from Dr. Horrible which was almost too awesome for me to handle.

In other news, the "industry reading" of Sweet Prince is tomorrow night. I don't know if industry will actually be there but it is exciting. I suppose...I haven't been to any rehearsals this time, lol. Okay, yeah, I'm excited. How could I not be?
I guess that's all for now.
I'm trying to write no fanfic for a month because...dudes it's gettin' in the way. We'll see how well I can stay with that.
I think I want to be Cersei Lannister for Halloween.
