Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions. Include this explanation. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
Here's what Kim asked me.
1. Describe, in detail (though not gross detail), your ideal husband/partner/etc.
I don't feel like answering this seriously. Instead I will provide this link.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuBm0dvIzcc2. What was your absolute favorite class throughout all of college? Least favorite?
Probably the "class" that was having our scenes performed in Manhattan.
3. If you had the opportunity to take one type of dance class for free, which type do you think you'd take (it could be anything, from ballet to belly-dancing to krumping...)? If there was a class on dancing at clubs or concerts, definitely that. Otherwise, I dunno, jazz or some kind of musical theater dance.
4. You are someone with an oral fixation -- how come I've rarely seen you buy/chew gum? Do pens really taste better??
Pens are what I'm holding when I'm thinking. Gum costs money. It's as simple as that. Not much thought involved.
5. Tell me about the worst teacher/professor you've ever had. And the best.
I had this absolutely horrible professor for college writing. I can't even remember her name right now but she was very unclear, gave a lot of retarded work, was annoyingly perky and wasn't even aware that our class was supposed to have been a combination with the class "dramatic structure" which was dropped. She taught us nothing about that.
The best? That's a lot harder. Possibly my fifth grade teacher "Mr. Osterweild". He really treated us like we were way above the ten year old level. He had us study Shakespeare and read all the time and do tons of work and didn't put up with crap. Plus he thought I was brilliant so of course I loved him ;)
Also, welcome back to school to any students on my friends list...especially those at Purchase. You lucky dogs. School= > the "real world". Or...er...so far, in my limited experience it seems to be so.
