I've got 5 days to pack as much crap as I can, and make sure all my stuff is in order so I can begin the pilgrimage to Charlotte and my new job and my new living area. I'm crazy excited and I hope this move goes well and smoothly.
Well back in April my brother offered to talk to someone he knew and get me a job at a Lowes near where he lived. It sparked an idea inside me and so I'd been toying with it for a while. Finally after a couple of months of disappointing events. I decided I wanted out of Fayetteville, and called my brother to see if the option was still open. He told me he couldn't get me the job at Lowes but I was more than welcome to come to Charlotte and look for a job. So I took him up on it and came for a week and applied at several places, one of which being EB Games. Well low and behold the guy either took me seriously or took pity on me and gave me an interview the following week. I went to the interview and blew him out of the water with my desire to work and my general knowledge of the products I'd be selling. Suprisingly almost half of the people who work at video games stores don't know shit about the games their selling. He appeared excited to have someone who is an actual gamer, and not just a video gamer. He told me he'd let me know and at the end of the week he told me that he'd get me on the roster ASAP. So.. I went back home and packed up my stuff as best as possible and moved it to Charlotte.
