Lead

So, today I read a professor found high levels of lead in plastic easter eggs and other easter toys at Hobby Lobby. Uh, great. Who knows what else and where else this contaminated crap is being sold? Do I dare trust that the plastic eggs I picked up at Michaels are fine? Everything is made in China, and only a tiny fraction of things on the market have been tested. Damnit.  Of course, I bought the eggs to use as molds for Rice Krispie eggs, so I definitely don't want to press hot Rice Krispie treats against a lead contaminated egg.

I'm getting to the point where I don't believe anything is completely safe.
