Do you have any holidays you can take, it sounds like you desperately need one. Either that, or start hunting a new and/or more exciting and less shift-workery job.

I only just took holidays, but I do have some more, and I think I'll use them in the new year... I do need it... I need to get the hell away from shiftwork... I've had enough...

Get the hell off to someplace exotic. Like vanuatu or kiribati. Or new zealand, if you must.

I'm thinking of New Zealand actually... Though heading up to the NT and seeing Kakadu is an option. Something to get me away before I die of "eh"

Wait for the train to start from Adelaide to Darwin in may, and hop that. Get orff at Alice, do the rock, olgas and get pissed in Bojangles, then carry on north and do Darwin and Kakadu.
Thats my advice. But before then, prolly go NZ and visit Kaikoura, which i hear is rather nice and full of whales and giant squid and shit. More squids and whales than shit, however.
